Crews worked this week to demolish a handful of buildings to make way for the reconstruction of Highway 3. Road construction for the $5.9 million project is slated to begin in April and will occur north of Third Street in Northfield. In addition to highway improvements, some of the buildings sit on the site of the future Riverfront Redevelopment site.
